President Kwesi Des Vignes, EVP Suzanne Baynes and Assistant Secretary Tahyr Kent made a coutesy visit to Honourable Orville London, Chief Secretary of the THA on behalf of JCI West Indies National President Kevin Hinds on 21st April 2015.
The visit aimed to facilitate discussion on ways JCI Tobago could meaningfully partner with the THA on few of our projects. Mr. London singled out one particular project that he felt can have significant impact on island. Executive Vice President, Alexis Murray, flew over to St Vincent to visit her assigned state in April.
During this visit, JCI St. Vincent took the opportunity to meet with government officials and the media with the aim of furthering its theme for 2015 “Care Connect and Collaborate”. Of course the visit was not only about business, members had the opportunity to socialize with the EVP as she enjoyed St. Vincent hospitality. It was definitely a memorable visit! Regional Environmental Project (World Environment Day)
The JCI WI World Environment Day project has also been launched. The project will be executed on Saturday, June 6, 2015 and each local organisation will run a project focusing on the environment. This is a great opportunity to collaborate and create sustainable IMPACT in your communities and in our world. Don’t pass up this opportunity!
