JCI has been in the West Indies for over 60 years and continues to contribute to the economic and social development of our region. The history of JCI West Indies has its genesis in 1949 in the country of Trinidad and Tobago. Throughout the years it institutionalised a symbol of Caricomism similar to West Indies Cricket with membership comprising: Antigua & Barbuda; Barbados; Dominica; Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinque; Jamaica[1]; Guyana; Montserrat; St. Kitts & Nevis; St. Lucia; St. Vincent & the Grenadines; and Trinidad and Tobago.
