One Caribbean: St. Vincent Emergency Relief Drive

In response to the eruptions of the La Soufrière volcano in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, JCI West Indies conceptualised the One Caribbean: St. Vincent Emergency Relief Drive. It was imperative that we mobilise our resources to make a contribution in these trying times. We may be separated by water, but at the end of the day, we are all One Caribbean. This initiative is chaired by Meritta Hyacinth, Executive Assistant for Disaster Risk Management.

At this point, they are two phases. Phase 1 consisted of donations from the Local Organisations of JCI West Indies. These primary funds would be used to make a swift donation. To accomplish this, we have collaborated with JCI St. Vincent; National Emergency Management Organisation of St. Vincent and the Grenadines; Ministry of Foreign Affairs in St. Vincent and the Grenadines; and Government of our Local Organisations.

Phase 2 is now open and it allows donations from private entities. This can be done by using the Donate button below.
