Health Fair - Annually, JCI St. Vincent identifies a community in need of health care services and collaborates with key partners to obtain and offer free health services, tools and products namely, blood pressure checks, glucose monitoring reading, rapid HIV testing, Prostate Specific Antigen, Pap Smears, etc. Through collaboration with various entities, just over 200 persons within the communities receives free health care services which undoubtedly impacted lives of persons especially those who may not have been able to afford such services.
JCI Health & Fitness Walk - Over the past five (5) years St. Vincent & the Grenadines has experienced a growing increase in Non Communicable Diseases (NCDs) such as cancer, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, kidney diseases as well as a growing concern for obesity. Evidently exercising and dieting has been proven to mitigate or prevent the development of these diseases. It is also proven that exercising and dieting goes hand in hand. As persons may exercise and not diet or diet and not exercise JCI St. Vincent implemented a project called "JCI St. Vincent Health & Fitness Walk". Thus, This project was primarily implemented to help promote health and fitness through exercise, among our fellow Vincentians.
