Restoration of our Chapter
In recent years the chapter building of JCI Port of Spain has become dilapidated. As a result the 2016 board and its members have decided that a refurbishment is needed. This will be under the direct purview of the Property committee and its Chairman. It is said, “Home is where the heart is” and we at JCI Port of Spain have acknowledged this. The Chapters refurbishment will commence on the 20th February, 2016 and will run throughout the year to make this project objective a but in transforming the world to be active citizens.
This project will be a spin off from our previous Impact 100 project executed in 2015 and is themed “Impact 101.” Improvements upon the original project ideas will see this year’s edition capitalising on the awareness and drive for 100% increase in membership for the Chapter. A series of campaigns and visits to prospective locations will be carried out, to stir drive for persons to attend the gala function which will serve as the culmination of the Impact 101 Project. This event is carded for the month of April.
